Zotero is a free but powerful tool for research on the Internet and for bibliographic management. It integrates with the Feinberg Library catalog and databases to make saving and citing sources as easy as clicking a button.

Which web browser do you prefer? Zotero works best with Chrome and Firefox. Zotero also works with Safari but does not work with Internet Explorer.
To install Zotero, go to Zotero’s website, click the big red button that reads “Download Now”, and follow the instructions. You must download both the program itself and a connector for your chosen browser.
The Quick Start Guide is the best way to learn how to use Zotero.
The official Zotero documentation is frequently updated to reflect the most recent changes to the the program.
If you are using Zotero on campus, Zotero will be automatically able to connect to and download materials from Feinberg Library databases. If you are using Zotero from off-campus, start your research with the Feinberg library home page, search boxes, and database links to replicate the experience of searching from campus.
