To find books about special education, try searching for phrases such as “special education” or "problem children" or "learning disabled children" or "remedial teaching" or "children with disabilities -- education" and choose Subject from the drop-down menu.
To find books or DVD's on teaching a specific subject, try searching for the word teaching and add the subject in which you are interested. Example: mathematics teaching
To browse the Juvenile Collection (Children's books), go to the PZ section on the 3rd floor. The Juvenile Collection is on the low shelves in the glass-walled room.
Books on special education in Feinberg Library are located in the LC section on 2nd floor near the Service Desk and Research Help Desk. Other education topics, such as classroom management, may be found in the LB section.
Books on teaching specific subjects are located with other books on that subject (HM for teaching social skills, the QA76 section for teaching math)
