This picture was taken at the Angell Campus Center, where the Cardinal Market is located. This picture is my friend Isabella Gisasii checking out her snacks at the Cardinal Market. It shows that if you are craving something at that moment you can go to the Cardinal Market and get yourself something, since we don’t live near places that are walking distance. This picture connects to our class Student Learning Outcome #1 because you see in the picture my friend is self checking her items on her own. This shows how technology has improved. This also shows how some colleges might have a market in their own campus.

This photo was taken on March 18, 2024 on the playground of SUNY Plattsburgh’s Sibley Hall Child Care Center. It is one of the play structures for the children in the childcare center and is made for young children to climb, crawl, and jump on. I chose this photo because it shows some things that affect the children at the child care center. Most of these children have parents/family who work here, went to school here, or live around here.

This photo was taken on the first floor of the Angell College Center, also known as the ACC, in the Sundowners Dining Hall at Asian Inspirations. The photo was taken on March 12, 2024. This photo depicts a refrigerator against the back wall and a paper towel dispenser. The two hanging rods that you can see coming down from the ceiling are lights. The television at the top of the screen displays one of the meals you can get using a meal swipe on your cardinal card. There are four steps listed on the screen for items you can add to your meal. Step 1 lists four different bases you can choose from: steamed jasmine rice, steamed brown rice, chilled Asian greens, or chilled noodles. Step 2 is your entree where they give you the choice between that day's special entree and that day's vegetarian entree. The entrees for the day the photo was taken are unknown. The third step is to choose your veggies. On the day this photo was taken the choices were steamed sweet chili vegetables or miso-glazed sweet potatoes. The last step is to choose your toppings. The options listed on the screen in this photo consist of 3 different sauces: Thai peanut sauce; sweet chili sauce; or Sriracha sauce. It also shows the options for cilantro and scallions, peanuts, or sesame seeds. The screen also displays how many calories are in each item. This photo depicts one of the many dining options for students during their daily lives on campus. Whether it's class, work, meetings, and clubs, every student needs to eat as well as the faculty and staff.

This is a photo of Whiteface Hall. It is a nine-floor high-rise building. It is the home of numerous first-year students at SUNY Plattsburgh. It is right in the middle of campus on Ruger Street. This photo connects to SLO #4 because Whiteface is most students’ first home at SUNY Plattsburgh so it holds a special place in peoples’ college memories. People with different racial, ethnic, and gender identities live there together. This freshman dorm contains so many amazing first memories for first-year students who come here, and I consider it my home away from home.
